Taxes Done. While You Play.
Tax Return Preparation for Individuals and Small Businesses-Bend, Oregon CPA
Get your taxes done right and on-time.
Plus, Upfront Pricing.
If you’ve been frustrated by tax preparers that make mistakes and don’t stand behind their work, that leave you hanging with no idea of when your return will be finished, or don’t tell you how much they’re going to charge you and then hit you with a huge bill, maybe we should talk.
I offer tax return preparation with guaranteed accuracy and timeliness, and upfront pricing. So you’ll know that your taxes will be done right, on time, and how much it’s going to cost you.
If the IRS has ever contacted you to talk about a tax return you filed, you know how important it is that your return was prepared accurately.
Whoever prepares your return needs to make sure that your tax information is reported properly because accurate tax return preparation is your first line of defense against unwanted interactions with the IRS.
That’s why I offer an accuracy guarantee for my tax clients:
If you give me the correct information, but I don’t prepare your return accurately, I’ll refund the amount you paid me to prepare your return, AND I’ll prepare your return next year for only $5.
Are you tired of giving all your tax info to your preparer and then just waiting . . . and waiting . . . and waiting?
Week after week, or maybe even months go by, and you still haven’t heard if/when your return will be finished.
How frustrating is that?
I believe that you shouldn’t have to babysit, or call and pester you tax preparer, or just wait and hope that they actually get your return finished.
That’s why I offer a timeliness guarantee for my tax clients:
I will have your return complete and ready for you to review within one, two, or three weeks (based on the tax prep package you choose) of the time you provide me all the information necessary to prepare your return. If I don’t have your return ready on time, I’ll refund $20 off your purchase price for each day I’m late.
The traditional way to calculate the bill for tax return preparation can be confusing and frustrating. I don’t even want to talk about it (but if you must know, you can ask me over drinks sometime, but you’re buying).
It takes a lot of trust to turn over your tax documents to someone without knowing how much they’ll charge you.
If/when they finish your return, what happens if you don’t agree with their price?
Will you have to argue with them?
Will you have time to find someone else to prepare and file your return?
Will they hold your documents hostage to try to prevent you from going somewhere else?
What do you do if they won’t budge?
You might understand why traditional firms bill the way that they do, but it’s not transparent at all. I decided to do something different and I call it Upfront Pricing.
I will let you know the price I will charge you to prepare your tax return, to the penny, upfront, so you can decide if you’d like to work with me or not.
Why Upfront Pricing?
I hate having to commit to paying for something without knowing what it will cost. I’m assuming I’m not the only one who feels that way.
Upfront Pricing forces me to take on the risk that your return will take longer to complete than expected, instead of passing that risk on to you. Upfront pricing removes the perverse incentive to lollygag that exists with some hourly or timesheet-based billing models.
So with Upfront Pricing your return gets finished sooner, and for the price you agreed to.
Want to find out your Upfront Price?
Just make an appointment and bring in a copy of last year’s return. If you want to be really prepared, you can request a free tax organizer, fill it out, and bring it with you. We’ll go over your situation and I’ll tell you what the pricing options are for your return. Then you can decide what you want to do.
Because, at the end of the day, I want you to feel confident about the way that your taxes are prepared, even if you decide not to have me do them for you.
