Business owners shouldn't have to guess their way through financial decisions.

I help growing service businesses understand their numbers, improve cash flow visibility, and make better decisions during the year.

About JOSHUA JORDAN, CPA

I’m a CPA who helps growing service businesses get a clearer handle on cash flow, profitability, and business decisions.

My work is centered around Financial Clarity + Decision Support. That means helping business owners understand what the numbers are telling them, what needs attention, and how to think through decisions around hiring, pricing, owner pay, cash flow, and growth.

Tax and accounting still matter, but I see them as part of a bigger picture: helping the business support the owner’s goals in a more predictable and intentional way.

More About Joshua

  • I’m licensed as a CPA in California.
  • I received my business degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo (Go Mustangs!).
  • Kellianne, my wife, is a family and branding photographer. We have two sons, Caleb and Noah, and they are both awesome in their own unique ways.
  • I work diligently and efficiently and I don’t joke about accounting, so it often surprises people to discover that I actually do have a sense of humor.
  • Any fleeting moments of personal time are likely to be spent on a bicycle, preparing for a criterium or cyclocross race.
  • I’m curious about how things work, so I really like reading and learning new things.
  • Sometimes people make fun of me for drinking coffee that comes in really small cups.
  • You will often find me sketching with my son Noah in my free time.

Why This Work Matters.

I’ve seen how much pressure business owners carry when the business is growing, the numbers are unclear, and decisions have to be made without enough financial context.

Earlier in my career, I worked with a growing company where I helped repair accounting systems and build a stronger financial foundation. The goal wasn't just cleaner books. It was giving the business real numbers so decisions could be made based on what was actually happening, not just gut feel.

That's still the kind of work I care most about: helping business owners understand what is happening financially and using that information to make better decisions.

How We Work.

Joshua leads the advisory, tax, and accounting work directly. Administrative support helps with scheduling, document coordination, signatures, filing, and keeping projects moving.

Clients should expect a small-firm relationship that is personal, practical, and intentionally structured. Instead of constantly responding to last-minute fire drills, we create a monthly rhythm for reviewing the numbers, talking through decisions, and making the financial side of the business feel more manageable.
